Jim Irvin Errington

PORT GIBSON — Jim Irvin Errington died Friday, Sept. 26, 2008, at Claiborne County Hosptial in Port Gibson. He was 66.

Mr. Errington was a native of Lawrence County, and had lived in Port Gibson since 1979. He was a retired bricklayer for Fountain Construction Company and was also employed as a mason by Bechtel.

Survivors include his wife, Rren Errington, and son, Bo Errington, both of Port Gibson; and two daughters, Lisa Smith of Mize, Miss., and Mirenda Norton of Gulf Breeze, Fla; six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Glenwood Funeral Home in Port Gibson with Rev. George Owens, minister, officiating. Burial will follow at Providence Cemetery in Copiah County. Visitation will be from 4 to 6 p.m. today at Glenwood Funeral Home.

Pallbearers will be Jason Riley, Jack Smith, Jacob Middleton, Teddy Harper, Joe Sutton and George Higgs.
