Jane Smith Foster

Jane Smith Foster died Dec. 28, 2013, at Vicksburg Convalescent Home. She was 80.

Mrs. Foster was born in Yazoo City, but lived most of her life in Vicksburg. She was retired from Cappaert Manufacturing Housing, where she worked for 23 years. She was a member of the Refuge Church.

She is preceded in death by her husband Thomas A. Foster Jr., and her son, Donnie L. Foster. Sr.

Survivors include two sons, Glen Foster Sr., and David M. Foster both of Vicksburg; two daughters, Brenda Foster Bradley of Prairieville, La., and Debra Foster Herr of Ponchatoula, La.; 13 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.

Services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 31, 2013, at Glenwood Funeral Home with the Rev. Tony Winkler officiating. Burial will be at Cedar Hill Cemetery.

Visitation will be Tuesday from 9 a.m. until the hour of service.

Pallbearers will be Lee Foster, Jr., Alvin Foster, Jr., Sean Bradley, Nathan Bradley, Michael Foster, Dennis Foster, Michael Hedrick, Chris Beard and Jonathan Beard.

Honorary pallbearers will be Billy Brown, Jason Herr, Mark Bradley, Bobby Johnston and Ted Crotwell.
