Tropical Storm Isaac had mostly passed through Warren County by 1 p.m., and clean-up was well under way. County and city officials were encouraging residents to stay indoors until all the county’s roads are cleared.
“I would encourage everybody to stay at home if it’s not essential that they travel,” said Warren County Emergency Management Agency Director John Elfer said.
At 1 p.m. Thursday, several roads in the county and city remained closed because of trees entangled with power lines, but most roads were expected to be passable by Friday, Supervisor Bill Lauderdale said.
