The “Land of Sweets” is the theme as 44 young ladies will be presented at the annual Vicksburg Cotillion Club Ball Saturday.

Club officers:

• Clara Grace Turner, a senior at St. Aloysius High School, is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Michael Allen Turner. She serves as president of the club and will be escorted by club sweetheart, William Sage Lewis, son of Martin Lewis and Debbie Lewis.

• Amanda Jane Paris, a junior at St. Aloysius High School, is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Paris. She serves as vice president of the club and will be escorted by George Laskaris Tzotzolas, son of Mr. and Mrs. Lester Tzotzolas.

• Kristen Lee Miller, a senior at Warren Central High School, is the daughter of Bart and Tanya Miller. She serves as secretary of the club and will be escorted by club sweetheart, Stephen Hutchinson Wagner, son of Steve and Janet Wagner.

• Ann Garrison Thomas, a senior at St. Aloysius High School, is the daughter of Gary and Dani Kay Thomas. She serves as treasurer of the club and will be escorted by club sweetheart, Garrett Wayne Watson, son of Herman and Kimberly Watson.

• Elliott Rae Welp, a senior at St. Aloysius High School, is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Tim Welp. She serves as sergeant-at-arms for the club and will be escorted by Nicholas James Mekus, son of Mr. and Mrs. Mike Mekus.
