Christine Jackson Ingram

Christine “Tennie” Jackson Ingram died Sunday, Sept. 30, 2012, at her residence. She was 69.

Born at Smith Station in Edwards, she was the daughter of the late Bethel Bryant and Mildred Wood Bryant. Mrs. Ingram was a former employee of Vicksburg Insurance Center and Muirhead Insurance Agency. She was a member of the Baptist faith.

She leaves her husband, Hubert Ingram of Smith Station; a daughter, Tracy Abernathy Park (Michael) of Vicksburg; a son, David Kimble Abernathy of Smith Station; four grandchildren, David Abernathy, Nick Friley, Zac Friley and Samantha Abernathy; one sister, Catherine Dawson of Smith Station; and one brother, Sidney Bryant of Bogue Chitto.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Thomas Bryant and Jack Bryant.

Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the Brownsville Cemetery in the Brownsville Community with the Rev. Robert Andrews, pastor of Elevate Church, officiating. Visitation will be 5 until 7 tonight at Riles Funeral Home.
