Charles Wayne Trim

Mr. Charles Wayne Trim, age 59, died March 22, 2012, at River Region Medical Center.
Mr. Trim was born in Port Gibson and had lived in Vicksburg for the past 34 years. He was an active member of Grace Baptist Church, where serving Vacation Bible School refreshments was his real delight. He was a carpenter, electrician and jack-of-all-trades, whose greatest enjoyments were his family, people in general and doing for others.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Henry and Emma Trim; granddaughter, Caitlin Rose Lopez; and his nephew/namesake, Charles Leo Williams.
He is survived by his wife, Evon Wooten Trim of Vicksburg; his daughter, Marie “Bodie” Lopez and her husband, Johnny, of Vicksburg; his brothers, Henry Trim and Jerry Trim of Port Gibson; his sisters, Dorothy Landrum of Laurel, Joyce Charrier of Sheridan, Ark., Ida Perkins of Vicksburg and Jean Williams of Smithdale; his grandchildren, Sydney Danielle Case and her husband, David, of Vicksburg, Kristy Lopez of Tallulah and Kimberly Greer and her husband, Kevin, of Texas; his great-grandson, Seth Abram Case of Vicksburg; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, March 24, 2012, at Glenwood Funeral Home with the Rev. Bryan Able officiating. Burial will follow at Yokena Cemetery. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until the hour of the service.
Pallbearers will be Charles Brooks, David Emerson, Lindsey Wright, Robert Gladwell, Jimmy Thompson, Michael Brooks, Craig Wallace and Steve Harper. Honorary pallbearers will be his EPA family.
