Haroldene Esther Hudson

PORT GIBSON — Haroldene Esther Hudson died Monday, Oct. 29, 2012, at her son’s home in Hernando. She was 90.
Mrs. Hudson was a native and lifelong resident of Claiborne County, and she and her husband were engaged in family farming operations. She was a graduate of Port Gibson High School and a member of the Port Gibson Chapter Order of the Eastern Star No. 337 and Pattison Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, William H. “Bill” Hudson; and a grandson, Benjamin Russell Hudson.
Survivors include her two sons, William H. Hudson III of Brookhaven and Robert H. Hudson of Hernando; two daughters, Deanna H. Chapman of Pattison and Lisa H. Anderson of Yorkville, Ill.; three sisters, Betty F. Lazerby of Petal, Mattye F. Alderman of Picayune and Alice Alderman of Vicksburg; seven grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
Services were at 11:30 today at the Glenwood Funeral Home in Port Gibson with the Rev. Clifford Nelson officiating. Burial followed at Wintergreen Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Todd Chapman, Tate Chapman, Chad Anderson, Adam Hudson, Ross Hudson, Steven Parman, Mark Lazerby and Kirk Mulling.
