CARY — Noria Brown died Thursday, May 31, 2012, at River Region Medical Center. He was 69.

Mr. Brown is survived by five sons, Otis Johnson of Chicago, Kenny Newell of Rolling Fork, Noria Dixon of Houston, Texas, Jason Dixon of Pittsburgh, Pa., and Jerry Dixon III of Atlanta; five daughters, Martha Dixon and Christine Dixon, both of Cary, Alma Kelly and Diana Dixon, both of Rolling Fork, and Patricia Johnson of Chicago; one brother, David Brown of Los Angeles; three sisters, Rosie E. Warren of Cary, Eunice Brown Miller of Vicksburg and Daisy Warren of New Orleans; and 24 grandchildren.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Mount Zion M.B. Church in Cary with Willie James Dorsey officiating. Burial will follow at Cary Community Cemetery under the direction of Walker Funeral Home of Rolling Fork.
