FOLEY, Ala. — Robert “Bob” Phillip Grimes Jr., a native of Shreveport, a longtime resident of Tallulah and a resident of Foley, Ala., for the past 11 ½ years, passed away Tuesday, Sept. 11, 2012. He was 80.

Mr. Grimes was a loving husband, father and grandfather.

He is survived by his wife, Shirley S. Grimes of Foley; daughters, Tricia Crowder and her husband, Darry, of Dallas, Charla Hill and her husband, David, of Raleigh, N.C.; son, Robert Phillip Grimes III of Tallulah; seven grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and many other relatives and friends.

The family will receive friends at the Regency Pointe Community Center, Saturday, Sept. 15, 2012, from 10 a.m. until noon.
