Miss Turtle Creek Brooke Bullock and Miss Dixie Molly May took top billing in talent and evening gown competitions Thursday in the eighth annual Miss Mississippi Outstanding Teen pageant.

Bullock, 15, played piano in the talent competition. She attends Petal High School and is the daughter of Suzanne and Greg Bullock of Petal.

May, 17, won the evening gown competition. She attends Houston High School and is the daughter of Debra May of Houston.

Preliminaries continue tonight at Vicksburg Auditorium for the pageant’s 29 contestants.

The winner will be crowned Saturday night. Tickets are $25 for tonight and $40 for Saturday. Ticket information is available by calling 601-638-6746.
