Alice Hubbard Jones died Monday, Oct. 15, 2012, at River Region Medical Center. She was 86.

Mrs. Jones was a member of the St. James M.B. Church, where she served on the mother board and was a choir member.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Benjamin F. Jones; a son, David L. Hubbard; a daughter, Vera Gross; a grandson, Andre Williams; and her parents, Olivia Hart Blunt and Joe Hubbard.

Survivors include seven sons, Robert Hubbard, Willie Gross and Cedrick Hubbard, all of Vicksburg, Christopher Williams of Chicago, Benny Hubbard of Flowood, Larry Hubbard of Collierville, Tenn., and Anthony Hubbard of Holland, Mich.; four daughters, Lillian Porter, Linda Wildee and Tommie Hubbard, all of Vicksburg, and Artemease Strong of Gardena, Calif.; 36 grandchildren; great-grandchildren; great-great-grandchildren; and other relatives and friends.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Lakeview Memorial Funeral Home with the Rev. Willie White officiating. Burial will follow at Cedar Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be from 1 until 6 p.m. Friday at the funeral home with the family present from 5 until 6.
