Porters Chapel and Ben’s Ford are the latest high school football teams to have their game postponed by Tropical Storm Isaac.
The teams agreed to postpone Friday’s matchup as the storm slowly churned northward, bringing drenching rain and high wind to the Gulf Coast. Classes were canceled at both schools Wednesday and today. PCA coach Wade Patrick said the lack of practice time, as well as the uncertainty of the storm’s severity and track, led to the decision to delay the game.
