Mr. and Mrs. Anthony David Battaglia of Brandon announce the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their daughter, Maria Antionique, to Jonathan Drayton Lee. Mr. Lee is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Drayton Lee of Forest.

Miss Battaglia is the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Anthony D. “Tony” Bat-taglia of Jackson and the late Mr. and Mrs. Horace Lee Davis of Hattiesburg.

Mr. Lee is the grandson of Chief Justice Roy Noble Lee and the late Mrs. Roy Noble Lee of Forest and the late Mr. and Mrs. Edward John Abraham of Vicksburg.

The bride-elect is a graduate of Northwest Rankin High School and attended Holmes Junior College.

Miss Battaglia is employed at Nathan’s Salon of Ridgeland.

The prospective groom is a graduate of Forest High School. He received a Bachelor of Science degree in biology and a master’s degree in biological sciences from Mississippi College.

Mr. Lee is a medical student at the University of Mississippi Medical Center.

The wedding will be June 9, 2012, in Sandestin, Fla.
