Betty Lou Halm, formerly of Vicksburg, died Friday, Sept. 14, 2012, in Bartlett, Tenn. She was 83.

She was preceded in death by her father, Russell Bezner; her mother, Beulah Bezner; and her husband, Joseph “Joe” Halm.

Survivors include her daughters, Betty Job Buchan (Kendal) of Pensacola, Fla., Patricia Cummings (George) of Bartlett and Cynthia Forstall (James) of Tallahassee, Fla.; sisters, Faye Neelyand and Pat Watson, both of Scottsdale, Ariz.; six grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.

Services will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 18, 2012, at Frank J. Fisher Funeral Home with the Rev. Billy Brumfield officiating. Burial will be at Cedar Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be tonight, Sept. 17, 2012, from 6 until 8 at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be James Forstall, Russell Forstall, Kendal Buchan, Joseph Buchan, Butch Cummings and Bryant Cummings.
