SEDONA, Ariz. — Anne C.P. Imrie, formerly of Vicksburg and Madison, New Orleans and Fort Wayne, Ind., passed away peacefully on Nov. 4, 2012, in Sedona at the age of 100.
She was born to Edith and T. Dorsey Pitts in Baltimore. She graduated from Bryn Mawr School in Baltimore and was a Phi Beta Kappa graduate from Smith College in 1933. She is survived by sons, Stephen (Susanna) of Los Gatos, Calif., Paul of Fayetteville, Ark. and George (Lucy) of Arkansas; daughters, Carolyn Fisher of Sedona and Anne Moll (Roger) of Freeland, Mich.; nine grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and former son-in-law, Lloyd Bess (Elizabeth) of Batesville, Ark.
A musical memorial service will be at 1:30 p.m., Nov. 30, 2012, at Sedona Winds Assisted Living. Her family also will celebrate her life in Arkansas and Rhode Island in 2013.
