Harold D. Carson died Sunday, Jan. 8, 2012, at Covenant Health and Rehab of Vicksburg. He was 65.

He was a graduate of Rosa A. Temple High School.

Mr. Carson was preceded in death by his parents, Willie B. Carson and Carrie Carson; two brothers, Willie B. Carson Jr. and Andrew Carson; a sister, Laura Carson; and his grandparents, Richard and Annie Bell Robinson.

Survivors include two daughters, Stephanie Hester of Vicksburg and Lolita Carson of Columbus, Ga.; two sisters, Carrie Whaley of Houston, Texas, and Deborah Conway of Las Vegas; two brothers, Calvin Carson and Barry Moore, both of Vicksburg; eight grandchildren; and nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and friends.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Belmont M.B. Church Cemetery in Utica under the direction of Lakeview Memorial Funeral Home.
