MEMPHIS — Lonnie Alvin Franklin died Saturday, Nov. 3, 2012, in Memphis. He was 44.

Mr. Franklin was a former resident of Greenville.

He was preceded in death by his father, Lonnie Franklin; and a sister, Janie Franklin.

Survivors include a son, Torey Franklin of Ridgeland; his mother, Juanita Anderson of Greenville; two brothers, Lona Franklin of Greenville and Leonard Richmond of Columbus; his grandmother, Margaret Ross of Vicksburg; and nieces, nephews and other relatives, including Emma Williams and Nathaniel Ross Jr. of Vicksburg.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Greater Hinds Street M.B. Church in Greenville with the Rev. Lavern Johnson officiating. Visitation is today from 1 until 6 at Redmond Funeral Home in Greenville.
