Karen and Ben Causey of Slidell, La., announce the engagement of their daughter, Chelsea, to Armon Keith “K.C.” Cox II. Mr. Cox is the son of Laura Kate and Donald Wells and the late Armon Keith Cox Sr. of Tallulah.

Miss Causey is the granddaughter of Dorothy and Pero Scallion of Le Compte, La.; William and Grace Hughes of New Orleans; and Charles and Kay Decuir of Pascagoula.

Mr. Cox is the grandson of the late Pauline and Spurgeon Upton of Delhi and the late Armon and Dorothy Cox of Tallulah.

The bride-elect is a graduate of Northshore High School in Slidell.

She received a Bachelor of Science degree in business management from Louisiana State University.

Miss Causey is an assistant director at Primary Colors Early Childhood Learning Center in Covington, La.

The prospective groom is a graduate of Tallulah Academy. He is area manager for AMI Staffing in New Orleans.

The wedding will be at 7 p.m. Sept. 22, 2012, at Rosy’s Jazz Hall in New Orleans.
