Humphries, Mallory are married

Benjamin Terrell Humphries Sr. and Detra La’Quel Mallory were married at 4 p.m. July 28, 2012, at Rainbow Arena. Paul H. Fleming of Cedar Grove Baptist Church officiated at the ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Cornelius and Shirley Mallory of Vicksburg. She is the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Robert Sayles Sr. and the late Mr. and Mrs. Frank Mallory Jr., all of Port Gibson.
The groom is the son of the late Ben Humphries and the late Shirley Naylor, both of Vicksburg. He is the grandson of the late Lillian Naylor and the late Mr. and Mrs. Eugene Humphries, all of Vicksburg.
Given in marriage by her father, the bride’s chosen color was pink. Vocalist was Shalon Wilson.
Maids of honor were Shirkera Soyoye of Grand Prairie, Texas, and Marshelia Mallory of Vicksburg. Bridesmaids were Brandy Wilson of Shreveport, Barbara Willis of Meridian, Sharon Mallory of Vicksburg, Casey Byrd of Ridgeland and Necole Shelton of Clinton.
Junior bridesmaid was Ife Soyoye of Grand Prairie.
Best men were Jordan Humphries and Benjamin Humphries Jr., both of Clinton; Daron Mims Sr. of Vicksburg; and Randy Naylor Jr. of Houston, Texas. Groomsmen were Bobby Davis, Shondell Lockridge and Curtis Judge, all of Vicksburg; Donté Wright of Baton Rouge; and Deforest Hart of Cleveland, Ohio.
Flower girl was Tionna Humphries of Vicksburg. Ring bearer was Randy Naylor III of Houston.
A reception followed the ceremony. Hostesses were Ida Kennedy, Debra Horton and Mary Anderson.
The couple will make their home in Clinton. The bride is a registered nurse at St. Dominic-Jackson Memorial Hospital, and the groom is a juvenile probation officer with the Warren County Youth Court.
Rehearsal dinner
Mr. and Mrs. Randy Naylor Sr., uncle and aunt of the groom, honored the bridal couple with a rehearsal dinner at their home.
Showers
Cathy Denton and Gwen Naylor, aunts of the groom, honored the bride with a miscellaneous shower at the Denton home.
The groom was honored with a honey-do shower at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Ricky Johnson. Special guests were members of the Warren County Youth Court staff.
