Homer and Connie Greer will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary with a renewal of vows at 5:30 p.m. Aug. 25, 2012, at St. Michael Catholic Church.

The Greers were married Aug. 26, 1962, at St. John’s Catholic Church in Gulfport. Mrs. Greer graduated from Mercy School of Nursing in Vicksburg and retired from ParkView Regional Medical Center after 30 years of service. Mr. Greer graduated from the University of Mississippi with a degree in electrical engineering and retired after 40 years from the U.S. Corps of Engineers.

They have two children, Laura McCallum (Walter) of Vicksburg and Brock Greer of Tahlequah, Okla.; and one grandson, Ryne McCallum.

All friends and family are invited to attend the ceremony and reception following.
