Kenneth L. “Kenny” Thomas died Friday, Nov. 9, 2012, at Covenant Health and Rehab of Vicksburg. He was 68.

A lifelong resident of Vicksburg, he was a framing-construction contractor and was a member of Gibson Memorial United Methodist Church.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles G. and Thelma Russum Thomas; and two brothers, Walter Thomas and Edwin Thomas.

He is survived by a daughter, Amanda Qualls of Madisonville, Ky.; two sons, Jeff Thomas of Spring, Texas, and Chris Thomas of Madisonville; two brothers, Jesse Thomas of Vicksburg and Charles Thomas of Grenada; and four grandchildren.

Services will be at 3 p.m. today at Wintergreen Cemetery in Port Gibson with the Rev. Greg Magnum officiating. Burial will follow under the direction of Glenwood Funeral Home.
