GLEN ALLAN ­— Pinkie Lee Willis died Thursday, Nov. 8, 2012, at her home. She was 101.

Mrs. Willis taught for 29 years in Panther Burn and Valewood.

Survivors include five sons, Roosevelt Wilson of Gretna, La., John Willis, Elgin Willis, Robert Willis and Nichols Willis, all of Chicago; four daughters, Doretha Duncan and Barbara Bell, both of Glen Allan, Beatrice Canty of Chicago and Theresia Collins of Cleveland, Ohio; two brothers, Bennie Thomas of Pompano Beach, Fla., and Calvin Thomas of Mayersville; 80 grandchildren; 62 great-grandchildren; 82 great-great-grandchildren; and 15 great-great-great-grandchildren.

Services will be at 2:30 p.m. Saturday at St. John M.B. Church in Valewood with Pastor Charles E. Bass officiating. Burial will follow at St. John Palmetto Cemetery in Valewood under the direction of Walker Funeral Home of Vicksburg.
