AZLE, Texas — Ina Louise “Ms. Lou” Heggins Cosby died Wednesday, Feb. 29, 2012, in Fort Worth, Texas. She was 68.

Born in Prentiss, Miss., Mrs. Cosby worked for Tandy Corporation for 18 years. After retirement, she volunteered with several veterans organizations.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Ina Mae and Lyman Heggins; three brothers; four sisters; and her longtime partner, Robert Harper.

Survivors include a daughter, Sandy Fuson of Newark, Texas; two sons, Robert Tucker of Boyd, Texas, and Michael Cosby; three sisters, Mettie Alexander of Delta, La., Ancie Greer of Hattiesburg and Helen Henley of Vicksburg; two brothers, Johnnie Heggins of Greenwood and Billy Heggins of Edwards; and eight grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

Services will be at 1 today at Aurora Baptist Church. Interment will be at Aurora Cemetery under the direction of Biggers Funeral Home in Fort Worth.
