Cartons of cigarettes, cigarette lighters and snack cakes were reported stolen about 10:30 p.m. Thursday from John’s Grocery in the 2000 block of U.S. 80, Warren County Sheriff Martin Pace said.

Pace said the owner of the store told dispatchers he saw a man running from the area after the break-in. It was not known how many cartons of cigarettes were taken.
