Elnora Bradley Knox

Elnora Bradley Knox died Wednesday, Feb. 22, 2012, at her home in Vicksburg. She was 89.

Mrs. Knox was a member and mother at Salem Christian Church, where she was a member of the Baptist Aid and Christian Aid.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Steve Bradley Sr. and Melissia Coffee Bradley; a brother, Steve Bradley Jr.; and three sisters, Annie Mae Brown, Margaret Lee Bradley and Catherine Coleman.

She is survived by Alfreda Bradley Gibson of Vicksburg and Sadie Scott Fletcher of San Bernardino, Calif., whom she reared; and a number of grandchildren, friends and other relatives, including members of the Coffee, Tyler, Jackson and Simms families.

Services will be at noon Saturday at Christian Chapel Church in Port Gibson with Elder Freddie Harris officiating. Burial will follow at Bald Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be from 1 until 6 p.m. Friday at Thompson Funeral Home in Port Gibson and Saturday at the church from 11 a.m. until the service.
