9 guilty in Warren County Circuit Court

In Warren County Circuit Court for the week ending Friday:

• Charles Bohanon, 61, 340 Youngtown Road, was found guilty of violating probation and sentenced by Circuit Judge M. James Chaney to two years in prison followed by three years of probation, plus unspecified fines, fees and restitution remaining from his original sentence. Bohanon was arrested Aug. 6, 2009 for possession of cocaine.

• John Wayne Erwin, 42, 1801 Jeff Davis Road, pleaded guilty to possession of precursor substances and was sentenced by Chaney to six years in prison followed by five years of probation, plus a $2,000 fine and $622.50 in costs. Erwin was arrested Feb. 10, 2010.

• Vance A. Gray, 29, 1950 Hope St., pleaded guilty to two counts of sale of a controlled substance and was sentenced by Patrick to 10 years in prison followed by five years of probation, a $2,000 fine and $1,245 in costs. Gray was arrested Jan 5.

• Tommy Holt, 18, 1528 Skyfarm Ave., was found guilty of violating probation and sentenced by Chaney to five years in prison followed by five years of probation, plus $3,522.50 in fines, fees and restitution. Holt was indicted by the grand jury in May.

• Dewayne Jones, 38, 3012 Wisconsin Ave., pleaded guilty to uttering a forgery and was sentenced by Chaney to two years in prison followed by a year of probation and $322.50 in costs. Jones was arrested in Jan. 11, 2011.

• Etoine Mayfield, 18, 3540 Sunset Drive, Apt. B-12, pleaded guilty to armed carjacking and was sentenced by Chaney to 20 years in prison followed by five years of probation, a $5,000 fine and $322.50 in costs. Mayfield was arrested June 15.

• Chris Lee Smith, 42, 4 Marian Bragg Drive, pleaded guilty to nonresidential burglary and was sentenced by Chaney to serve two years in prison to include an extended alcohol and drug treatment program followed by five years probation, a $1,000 fine, $450 in restitution and $350 in costs. Smith was arrested May 4, 2011.

• Jamie Woods, 28, 237 Smith Road, pleaded guilty to possession of a controlled substance and was sentenced by Circuit Judge Isadore Patrick to serve two years in prison followed by five years probation, a $5,000 fine, $100 restitution and $622.50 in costs. Woods was arrested Jan. 27. He also was found guilty of violating his probation and sentenced to an additional two years in prison plus three years probation, a $3,000 fine and $322.50 in costs.

• Shelby West, 32, 122 Abraham Drive, pleaded guilty to possession of a controlled substance and was sentenced by Chaney to the Ninth Circuit Drug Court for a period not to exceed five years, a fine of $3,500 and $1,297.50 in costs.

In Sharkey County for the week ending Friday:

• Antherious Edwards, 21, 2537 Mississippi 16 West, Rolling Fork, pleaded guilty to possession of a weapon after felony conviction and was sentenced by Chaney to time served (237 days) followed by five years of probation, a $1,500 fine and $322.50 in costs. Edwards was indicted by the grand jury in January.

• Robert Williams, 23, 256 Mulberry St., Rolling Fork, pleaded guilty to possession of a controlled substance and was sentenced by Chaney to one year in prison followed by five years of probation, a $1,000 fine and $322.50 in costs. Williams was arrested Oct. 11.
