PORT GIBSON — Isaac Evans died Friday, Nov. 30, 2012, in Sunflower County. He was 60.

Mr. Evans is survived by a daughter, Renetta Evans of St. Louis, Mo.; two brothers, Templeton Evans of New Orleans and Albert Evans of Magee; six sisters, Nora Sorrell of New Orleans, Catherine Griffith of Miami and Ruby Walker, Ida Banks, Mamie Smith and Flora Smith, all of Port Gibson; and aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Rising Sun M.B. Church in Port Gibson. Burial will follow at Old White Oak Cemetery in Carpenter. Visitation will be from 1 until 5 today at Thompson Funeral Home of Port Gibson and Saturday at the church from 10 a.m. until the service.
