ERDC receives innovation award

The Department of Defense High Performance Computing Modernization Program which is headquartered at the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Engineering Research and Development Center in Vicksburg has received the Innovation Excellence Award from the International Data Corporation.
The program was recognized for its enabling role in improving the process to certify unmanned aerial vehicles as air-worthy.
Besides ERDC, the Department of Defense has HPCM centers at the John C. Stennis Space Center in Waveland; Wright Patterson Air Force Base in Dayton, Ohio; Maui, Hawaii; and the Aberdeen Proving Grounds in Aberdeen, Md.
