Mickey and Sandra Cheeks of Ellisville announce the engagement of their daughter, Emily Lauren, to Joshua Caleb Sullivan of Hattiesburg. Mr. Sullivan is the son of Mike and Judi Sullivan of Vicksburg.

Miss Cheeks is the granddaughter of Roberta Holliman and the late Dick Holliman and Ed and Margie Cheeks, all of Ellisville.

Mr. Sullivan is the grandson of Norma Babin of Vicksburg and the late Dr. Wayne Babin; Klare Campbell of Cumming, Ga.; and the late Aubrey Sullivan Sr.

The bride-elect graduated from high school in 2009. She is a Licensed Practical Nurse graduate.

The prospective groom graduated from high school in 2009. He is a senior at the University of Southern Mississippi and is an audio engineer at South City Studio.

Vows will be exchanged Oct. 13, 2012, at Cedar Grove Mansion. A reception will follow.
