Services for Roedortha “Bud” Epps will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Lakeview Memorial Funeral Home with the Rev. Alfred Lassiter Jr. officiating. Burial will follow at Cedar Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be from 1 until 6 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.

Mr. Epps died Saturday, Jan. 7, 2012, at his home. He was 72.

He was preceded in death by Lena Mae Qualls; his parents, Robert and Narcis Epps; a daughter, Shirley Jean Epps; three brothers, Edward Brown, Lewis Collins and Clarence Brown; and two grandsons, Otis Ross and Preston Qualls.

Survivors include four daughters, Earnestine Ross, Roedorthy Qualls and Ann Qualls, all of Vicksburg, and Patricia Epps of Chicago; five sons, Willie Earl Qualls, Roy Lee Qualls Sr. and Anthony Latrial Qualls, all of Vicksburg, Michael Kennedy of Tutwiler and Willie Otis Epps of Milwaukee, Wis.; one brother, Robert Epps Jr. of Greenwood; 30 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and other relatives and friends.
