Services for Herstine B. “Lucille” Williams will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Zion Travelers M.B. Church, 1701 Poplar St., with the Rev. Alphonso Butler officiating. Burial will follow at St. Mark Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6 until 7 p.m. Friday at W.H. Jefferson Funeral Home.

Mrs. Williams died Thursday, July 5, 2012, at River Region Medical Center. She was 75.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Jim and Cornelia Harris Butler; two brothers, Jim Butler Jr. and Henry Butler; and a son, Alonzo Williams.

She is survived by a son, Jimmy Williams of Stafford, Va.; four daughters, Diana Shumpert of Starkville and Martha Williams, Mary King and Jo Ann Williams, all of Vicksburg; seven sisters, Mattie Eatmon and Lubertha King, both of Vicksburg, and Willie Mae Butler, Marcella Butler, Josephine Ellis, Rosa Mae Johnson and Clara Butler, all of Chicago; 18 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives.
