A Vicksburg man accused of hitting his ex-girlfriend in the face with a beer bottle was in jail this morning.

Ronnie Dee, 37, 1000 Harris St., was arrested at 2:59 a.m. Thursday and charged with aggravated domestic violence, police Capt. Bobby Stewart said.

Dee struck the woman in the face with a 12-ounce bottle during an argument at his home, Stewart said. The woman was taken to River Regional Medical Center where she was treated and released.

Dee was held this morning in the Issaquena County Correctional Facility in lieu of $25,000 bail.
