CARTHAGE — Katherine Hunt, 66, died Sunday, June 24, 2012, at St. Dominic-Jackson Memorial Hospital in Jackson.

Survivors include two sons, Andy Howell of Carthage and Carvis Purvis of Vicksburg; six daughters, Glenda Surber of Carthage, Kathy Purvis, Dessie Kimble and Ashley Pell, all of Vicksburg, and Tina Coram and Teresa Keel, both of Deridder, La.; two sisters, Louise Tuarte of Fort Worth and Patricia Fowler of Troy, Texas; 19 grandchildren; and 21 great-grandchildren.

Services were at 10 a.m. today at Wilcox Funeral Home with Lawrence Poole officiating. Burial followed at Liberty Cemetery in Edinburg.
