A county man accused of beating and choking his girlfriend was arrested Wednesday after several weeks on the run.
Will E. Hull, 4901½ Gibson Road, was arrested shortly after noon Wednesday after nearly a month of evading arrest, Sheriff Martin Pace said.
Hull is accused of striking his girlfriend in the face and choking her on Feb. 20 on Old Gibson Road, Pace said.
“He has been dodging us since then,” Pace said.
The woman was treated for facial fractures and choking injuries and released from River Region Medical Center Pace said.
Wednesday afternoon Hull was arrested near Farmer and Jackson streets by Sgt. Jason Bailess, Pace said. Hull posted $45,000 bail and was released.
