Two teens arrested on weapons charges

Two men were held without bail today on weapon’s charges following a traffic stop early Saturday by Warren County deputies.
Alerick Powell, 18, 105 South Drive, and De’Barrea Malone-Smith, 18, 121 Lee Circle, were arrested by deputies Mario Grady and Ronnie Fuller at 12:40 a.m. and charged with possession of a firearm after a felony conviction, Undersheriff Jeff Riggs said.
A 9mm pistol and a 32-caliber pistol were recovered from under seats of the vehicle, which was driven by Malone-Smith, Riggs said.
Two other passengers were arrested and charged with misdemeanors, Riggs said.
