Services for Katie Mae “Lucy” Washington Robinson will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Bethlehem M.B. Church, 3055 N. Washington St., with the Rev. Henry Mayfield Sr. officiating. Burial will follow at Cedar Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be from 1 until 6 p.m. Friday at Lake-view Memorial Funeral Home with family present from 5 until 6.

Mrs. Robinson died Wednesday, June 27, 2012, at River Region Medical Center. She was 83.

She was a member and mother at Mount Zion No. 4 M.B. Church. She retired as a cook from St. Francis Xavier Elementary and Beechwood Restaurant. She was the daughter of the late William “Bill” and Melissa Wilson Washington.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three sisters, Rosie L. Turner, Idella Washington Gee and Willionia W. James; two brother, Rufus Washington and George Washington; a son, Andrew Williams; and a grandson, Michael Walker.

Survivors include her companion, Lee Arthur Carson of Vicksburg; two sons, James Brown Washington and Clarence Williams, both of Vicksburg; two daughters, Frankie Knox and Melissa Neal, both of Vicksburg; two stepdaughters, Patricia Carson and Ruby Carson, both of Vicksburg; two sisters, Viola Neal of Utica and Melva Tarleton of Vicksburg; 15 grandchildren; 36 great-grandchildren; seven great-great-grandchildren; and nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
