EDWARDS — Barbara “Bobbi” Doiron Raines passed away Saturday, March 31, 2012, at her home in rural Hinds County. She was 50.

Mrs. Raines was a native of Vicksburg. Bobbi was a 1979 graduate of Vicksburg High School, where she served in student government and was elected her senior year as student body president. She was popular among all the students and was elected class favorite, varsity cheerleader and served on the homecoming court. She attended Hinds Community College. Her hobbies involved journal writing, reading, cooking and anything dealing with crafts. Even though her life ended shortly she will always be remembered, loved and fond memories will be shared.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Charlie and Lucile Carollo and Jules Warren Sr. and May L. Doiron.

Survivors include her son, Ryan Raines, and his fiance, Priscilla Vu, of Biloxi; a daughter, Sarah Summer Raines of Madison; her parents, Warren and Camille Doiron of Vicksburg; one brother, Mark Doiron, and his wife, Christy, of Madison; two sisters, Whitney Doiron of Asheville, N.C., and Sheri Doiron McBride, and her husband, Jimmy, of Vicksburg; a granddaughter, McKenzie Abigail Raines of Biloxi; and nieces and nephews, Candice Landers, Chad and Shelby Doiron, Hunter Landers and Thomas McBride.

A memorial service will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Glenwood Chapel with the Rev. P.J. Curley officiating. Visitation will be Friday from 9 a.m. until the service at the Glenwood Funeral Home.
