GLOSTER — Mrs. Mary Elizabeth “Lizzie” Myles, 95, of Gloster, passed away Wednesday, April 18, 2012. Funeral services are scheduled for 11 a.m. Saturday, April 28, 2012, at Holly Grove Baptist Church, 2811 Mississippi 24 in Centreville, Miss. Visitation will be Friday, April 27, 2012, from 6 until 8 p.m. at Anderson Funeral Home in Gloster and on Saturday at Holly Grove Baptist Church from 10 a.m. until the service hour. Interment will be at Holly Grove Baptist Church Cemetery.

Mrs. Myles was born on Jan. 13, 1917, to Joseph and Laura Chapman Perry. Mrs. Myles was united in holy matrimony to the late James W. Myles Sr. She was a member of Holly Grove Baptist Church and a homemaker.

Mrs. Myles was preceded in death by a son, Leon Myles; a daughter, Florostein Myles; and a grandson, Terrance Myles.

She leaves to cherish her memories seven sons, James W. Myles Jr. of Scotlandville, La., Joe (Delilah) Myles of Baker, La., Andrew J. Myles of Gloster, Abraham (Letitia) Myles of Fayetteville, N.C., Marvin E. Myles of Gloster, Albert (Vera) Myles of Starkville and Willie (Marcella) Myles of Sweeny, Texas; two daughters, Etta (Otis) James of Vicksburg and Melva (Darwin) Belcher of Martinsville, Va.; three brothers, Jacob Perry Sr. of Centreville, Willie Ive Perry of Detroit and Joseph Perry Jr. of Baton Rouge; one sister, Ethel (William) Parker of Centreville; six sisters-in-law; 22 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
