Two Warren County men, one out on probation, and the other on early release from prison, face robbery charges in the July 7 robbery of a man on Redwood Road, Warren County Sheriff Martin Pace said.
He said Nathan Kirkley, 23, 45 Hometown Road, and Jeffery Luckett, 28, 110 Tower Drive, are accused of assaulting the man and stealing $22. Both were arrested Saturday night and were being held without bond in the Warren County Jail.
Pace said Kirkley and Luckett had been at a party on Redwood Road with friends. When the party ended, the two men left and then pulled off the road and flashed their lights as if they were in trouble. The victim who was on a motorcycle, turned back to check on them, and when he arrived at the car, Kirkley and Luckett attacked and beat him, took his money and threw his cell phone away.
According to the Warren County District Attorney’s Office, Kirkley was on probation for burglary and Luckett had just been released from prison, where he had been serving a five-year sentence for possession of a weapon by a felon.
