Services for Jermaine D. Walton will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Lakeview Memorial Funeral Home with the Rev. Joe Harris officiating. Burial will follow at Cedar Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be from 1 until 7 p.m. Friday at the funeral home with family present from 6 until 7.

Mr. Walton died Friday, June 1, 2012, as the result of a boating accident. He was 25.

Mr. Walton was a graduate of Warren Central High School. He was employed at Waffle House.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Fred Moore Sr.; and his paternal grandparents, Ellis White and Mattie Mae Wilson.

Survivors include his mother, Ruth Ann Walton of Vicksburg; his father, Walter Wilson of Vicksburg; five brothers, Terry Dean Walton, Cornelius Edward Walton, Dana Lamar Walton and Curtis Walton, all of Vicksburg, and Hebrew Edward Walton of Brandon; his maternal grandmother, Vera White of Vicksburg; a stepsister, Shanda Leslie of Michigan; and aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends, including the Thomas, Ellis, Walton, Jones, Moore, White and O’Neal families.
