COLUMBIA — Ada Lee Short died Sunday, March 11, 2012, at her home. She was 86.

Survivors include a son, Pastor Johnny Short Sr. of Kankakee, Ill.; two daughters, Doris Jean Short of Columbia and Patricia Renee Short of Indianapolis; nine grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Sunday at Rising Star Seventh-day Adventist Church in Rolling Fork with her son officiating. Visitation at the church will be from 10 a.m. Sunday until the service.
