Frank Grant Jr. died Monday, Oct. 29, 2012, at University Medical Center in Jackson. He was 55.

Born in Detroit, Mr. Grant was a Vicksburg resident. He was a truck driver.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Ellen B. King; and a son, Issac Grant.

He is survived by his father, Frank Grant Sr. of Birmingham, Ala.; one son, Frank Grant III of Vicksburg; three brothers, Christopher Grant of Fayette, Shawn T. King of Natchez and Aaron Grant of Junction City, Kan.; a sister, Regina G. Tenner of Roxie; and other relatives and friends, including Nathalie Grant of Port Gibson.

Services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Jefferson County High School with the Rev. Isaac Tenner officiating. Burial will follow at Natchez Veterans Cemetery. Visitation will be until 5 tonight at Rollins Funeral Home in Port Gibson.
