Services for Mary L. Brown will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at New Hope M.B. Church in Bovina with Pastor Tyrone Dixon officiating. Burial will follow at the church cemetery. Visitation will be Friday from noon until 6 p.m. at Robbins Funeral Home and Saturday at the church from 10 a.m. until the service.

Mrs. Brown died Saturday, Oct. 6, 2012, at River Region Medical Center. She was 89.

She was a lifelong resident of the Bovina community and member of New Hope M.B. Church. She was the daughter of the late Tommy Cook and Ella Tribble Cook.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Gorman Brown; and three sons, Eddie Brown, David Brown and Barney Brown.

Survivors include her daughter, Camellia Brown of Los Angeles; three sons, James Brown of Vicksburg, Gorman Brown Jr. of Chicago and Thomas Brown of Las Vegas; 14 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and other relatives and friends.
