Frances Beeman Strong

UTICA — Frances Beeman Strong died Wednesday, Nov. 21, 2012, at Vicksburg Convalescent Home. She was 87.

Mrs. Strong was a native of Scott County and lived in Utica most of her life. She was a member of Utica Baptist Church.

Survivors include her husband, Lloyd E. Strong of Utica; a son, Clifford E. Strong of Hermanville; two daughters, Peggy Lynn Markley of Meridian and Linda Faye Butts of Raymond; three brothers, T.W. Beeman of Sandersville, Carl Beeman of Gainesville, Fla., and Robert E. Beeman of Florence; three sisters, Juanita B. Freeman of Houston, Texas, Chesterene B. George of Jackson and Bettye Ruth Dearman of Tuscaloosa, Ala.; eight grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Utica Baptist Church with the Rev. Rocky Henriques officiating. Burial will follow at Carpenter Cemetery in Carpenter. Visitation will be Monday at the church from 9 a.m. until the service.

Pallbearers will be Dustin Strong, Jeffery Reed, David Reed, Allan Reed, George Hennington, Greg Morgan and Nathan Pittman.

Glenwood Funeral Home of Utica has charge of arrangements.
