Michael David Weiland Jr. and Courtney Elizabeth Dunn were married at 5 p.m. May 12, 2012, at Parkway Hills United Methodist Church in Madison. The Rev. Bruce Case officiated at the ceremony.

The bride is the daughter of the late Charles Lynnwood Dunn and Patricia Mathis Dunn of Madison. She is the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Milton Dudley Dunn of Duncan, Miss., and the late Mr. and Mrs. Robert Clelon Mathis of Tupelo.

The groom is the son of Dr. Geri and Michael David Weiland Sr. of Vicksburg. He is the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. Richard Calvin Weiland of Clarksdale, George Grantland of Gautier and Muriel Green-Grantland of Vicksburg.

The bride was given in marriage by her uncle, Milton Dudley Dunn Jr. Her chosen colors were yellow and cobalt.

Ceremonial music was provided by the Jackson String Trio and pianist Joe Williams. Vocal soloists were Alexandra Peter and Charles Brister.

Maid of honor was Anna Leigh Dunn of Studio City, Calif. Bridesmaids were AnnaBelle Smith Bier of Mande-ville, La.; Ashley Verrette Smith of Ocean Springs; Alexandra Nicole Peter of Marston Mills, Mass.; Adrienne Leigh Hinton of Jackson; Jenny Parker Steelman of Hattiesburg; Lauren Wozniak Johnson of Birmingham, Ala.; and Sarah Elizabeth Bennett of St. Louis, Mo.

The groom’s father served as best man. Groomsmen were Elliott Branton Robertson Sr., Phillip Anthony Sandifer and James Zebedee Whatley IV, all of Jackson, Miss.; Michael Ryan Farrar and Peyton Benjamin Harper, both of Jackson, Tenn.; Justin Zachary Jeffus of Mobile, Ala.; and Lee Carpenter Williams of Nashville, Tenn.

Flower girl was Mary Mason Dunn of Clarksdale. Ring bearer was Emerson Stratton Dunn of Clarksdale.

A reception followed at The Mississippi Craft Center in Ridgeland.

For a wedding trip, the couple traveled to Castries, St. Lucia.

They will make their home in Nashville, where both are employed with Monroe Carrell Junior Children’s Hospital at Vanderbilt Medical Center.
