Luther T. Shows Jr., 64, died Sunday, March 25, 2012, at River Region Medical Center.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday, March 28, 2012, at Colonial Chapel Funeral Home in Magee. Burial will be at Good Hope Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation will be tonight from 5 until 8 at the funeral home.

Mr. Shows was a member of Eagle Lake Baptist Church. He enjoyed hunting, Ole Miss football and woodworking. He was a practical joker with a great sense of humor.

Mr. Shows is survived by his wife, Gail Shows of Vicksburg; children, Ray Shows of Mount Olive, Russ Shows (Lori) of Richland; grandchildren, Garrett Shows, Bryce Shows and Braxton Shows; sister, Judy Pennington of Hattiesburg; and a number of nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Luther T. and Marjorie Weathersby Shows; and brothers, Carroll Shows and Fred Shows.

Pallbearers are Andy Saranthas, Shane Steele, Todd Shows, Tony Shows, Shane Bouvier, Dewey Shows, Ty Bouvier and Stevie Shows.

Honorary pallbearers are Charles Watson, Mike Rogers, B.J. Shows, Trevor Rogers, Wayne Pennington and Bubba Reynolds.
