Dorene Skinner died Sunday, Oct. 14, 2012, at River Region Medical Center. She was 52.

Born in Fort Rucker, Ala., Mrs. Skinner had lived in Vicksburg since 1994.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Foy Mullinax and Lula Adaline Williams Mullinax; and her stepfather, Don Allen.

She is survived by her husband, Rick Skinner; one daughter, Ashley Skinner of Vicksburg; one son, Jason Skinner of Vicksburg; and two brothers, Steve Mullinax and Mickey Mullinax, both of Vicksburg.

A celebration of life will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Riles Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Terry White, pastor of Bowmar Baptist Church, officiating. Visitation will be from 1 p.m. Friday until the service.

Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association or the American Cancer Society.
