A proposed $14.8 million budget for 2012-13 in Warren County be discussed with the public Monday.

The public hearing begins at 9 a.m. in the Board of Supervisors’ meeting room on the third floor of Warren County Courthouse.

Anyone who wants to comment on the county’s budget will be asked to speak to the board. Immediately thereafter, a formal vote on the budget is expected. The format differs from that for the City of Vicksburg, which routinely holds such hearings at least a week before the formal budget is adopted.
