Vicksburg firefighters load Michael Smith, 46, 1843 Main St., into an ambulance after a two-vehicle wreck on Halls Ferry Road near Cain Ridge Road Tuesday. Vicksburg police officer Dwayne Powers said the rear of Smith’s Dodge was hit by a Nissan driven by Chantilly Darden, 34, 108 Foy Circle. Smith was treated and released from River Region Medical Center, and Darden was not injured.
