In a game that stretched on well past many people’s bedtimes, Grant Dozar was Ole Miss’ worst nightmare.

LSU’s designated hitter tied the game with a home run in the top of the eighth inning, then singled in the go-ahead run in the 13th as the Tigers took the opener of a three-game series with Ole Miss, 4-3 on Friday night.

Game two of the series is today at 4 p.m. in Oxford.
